This job was a lot of fun because we were given the opportunity to not only install gutters on the home but also install some drainage and tie it all together. I began with the gutters so that we could control the rainwater that hits the roof. I directed the downspouts to where they could be tied into the drain pipe. I installed a pipe from the downspout at the front of the home and ran the pipe under the sidewalk and front lawn to drain in the ditch by the street. I also installed a sump pump to move water where there was stagnant water. A catch basin was also installed for rapid water extraction. I am pleased to report that not only do the gutters look and work great the drains work like a charm.
